This session will focus on the life and poetry of Poland’s Jewish “National Poet”, Julian Tuwim. The session will be led by Myer Siemiatycki, and will include a discussion of the biography of Tuwim, his influences and his lasting influence in Poland, as well as several readings of Tuwim’s poems in translation.
