Distinction, Narratives and Partnership: three tools to build a better world

If you’ve ever read Bereshit (Genesis), you may have noticed that it contains multiple narratives of who we are and how we came to be. Join Social Justice Scholar-in-Residence, Jenny Isaacs, as she shares insights into what we can learn from this foundational text about the importance of navigating multiple narratives and difference in building the partnerships needed to build a more just world. An interactive post-Kiddush discussion will follow.

Our scholar’s inaugural D’var Torah will be given during the 10 am Shabbat services on October 14, 2017

A post-Kiddush discussion will follow in the sanctuary at 1 o’clock
