Selichot

Slichot is a soulful service of penitential prayer, which encourages introspection as we lead up to the High Holy Days. Taking place on the Saturday night prior to Rosh Hashanah, and beginning with Havdalah, the service features poetry, meditation and music.

7:30 “What Does Literatre Teach Us About Forgiveness?” with Dr. Julia Zarankin, PhD. What does it mean to truly forgive? How does it change both the one who forgives and the one who is forgiven? We will explore the ways in which Western literary texts tackle forgiveness. Introductory remarks by Rabbi Tina Grimberg
