Life Stories and the Music They Inspire

A program led by Cantor Aaron Bensoussan

Tell me a story and I'll sing you a song...

Come and be an active part of a unique 5-part concert series of song and storytelling. This program gives Seniors in our community the opportunity for their voice to be heard as they are mentored in the art of telling fascinating stories from their own lives.

If you are interested in participating, please fill out the registration form below. Feel free to let us know if you are interested in more than one role. We are looking for people interested in filling the following roles:

Storytellers

If you are interested in telling your unique story of success, challenge, triumph, having met someone famous or having been in an interesting location, please fill out the following form and submit a 1-page outline of your story to info@darcheinoam.ca.

Steering Committee Members

You will get to help choose a unifying theme for the entire series and decide which stories will be told at each session.

Event Volunteers

In order to help ensure that things run smoothly at each event, volunteers will help with logistics by acting as greeters, serving refreshments and distributing and collecting audience surveys.

Deadline to submit your application is Tuesday, June 20.

PLEASE NOTE: We thank you for your application and interest in this program. All interested story-tellers, steering committee members and volunteers will be interviewed before approval. Space is limited and dependent on this approval process.

Upon acceptance, you will be required to attend a mandatory session on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at 7pm at Congregation Darchei Noam.

Please provide a contact e-mail address.
