Summary |
We are pleased to share that our Rabbi Tina Grimberg is one of 27 rabbis to have graduated from Shalom Hartman Institute's 3-year Rabbinic Leadership Initiative in Jerusalem last week. In addition to Rabbis from Australia, Israel and around North America, this year's class also included two other Toronto-based graduates: Rabbi Adam Culter of Beth Tzedec Congregation and Rabbi Ed Elkin of First Narayever Congregation. They are now included in the company of over 125 Senior Rabbinic Fellows of the Hartman Institute world-wide.
The curriculum of this initiative focuses on three Foundations for Thoughtful Judaism: ethics, community and faith. We look forward to sharing in this learning on Rabbi Tina's return at the end of the summer.
There to celebrate this wonderful achievement by our Rabbi were Larry Tomlin, representing our Board of Directors, and Rabbi Tina's sister. The full graduation ceremony is available to watch online. Rabbi Tina was one of two graduates to speak at the ceremony and she can be found at 11:20 in the video.
