This past Sunday, the Leslieville Jewish School celebrated the end of the school year with a picnic at Jimmie Simpson Park. From September to June, the Leslieville Jewish School has been running educational programs for a small group of families in the east end of Toronto as an offshoot of Darchei Noam’s Hebrew School program. Every Sunday from 2-4 PM, the school offered activities, lessons, and experiential learning about Judaism for families in Leslieville. They were delighted to be joined at the picnic by members of Kef Toronto, a Jewish community group in the east end with whom they often collaborate.
