Dror Israel works to build a caring, just, shared society in Israel. 1,500 trained educators living in 16 Educators’ communities on the social and economic periphery of Israel promote social activism to drive positive change in Israel. These educators live in the neighborhoods they serve, bridging gaps, & solving local problems. Through the Dror Israel schools for youth at risk, Jewish-Arab programs, the youth movement, workshops, community projects and local and national social justice initiatives, Dror Israel betters the lives of 150,000 people every year.

Dror Israel inspires inclusivity, equality, and responsibility for oneself and one’s community.

During the first phase of the COVID-19 quarantine, Dror Israel provided essential services in local communities throughout Israel:

  • 1,000+ children of medical workers attended Dror Daycare
  • 6,000+ seniors received food and medicines
  • 3,000+ face shields were produced in Dror schools and distributed to hospitals
  • 800+ volunteers picked and packed produce in 30+ fields
