Join us for an exciting concert featuring The Ramaz Upper School Choir and Rak Shalom. They will be singing their traditional repertoire of both Hebrew and English songs, as well as a variety of different genres.

Rak Shalom

Rak Shalom is a co-ed Jewish a cappella group from the University of Maryland who loves to bring Jewish pride, energy and music to synagogues, nursing homes, and schools. They sing a combination of Jewish traditional songs, Israeli pop, and American pop. Recently, they have performed at The White House and The Library of Congress. In November of 2018, they competed in the Philadelphia Jewish A Cappella Competition and placed first!  Additionally, in February 2019, they competed in a national collegiate Jewish a cappella competition called "Kol Haolam," and came in first place here as well!

The Ramaz Upper School Choir

The Ramaz Upper School Choir is an exciting and dynamic vocal ensemble of approximately 40 students from grades 9-12. They sing a diverse repertoire of traditional and contemporary music, ranging from liturgical Renaissance music to contemporary secular and Israeli songs. Performance highlights include the Ramaz Annual Dinner, national HS choral festivals and community concerts up and down the Eastern Seaboard. They have recorded several albums and performed throughout the United States and Israel. The Ramaz Choir is excited for its first visit to Canada!
