Torah Study
Torah Study
Saturdays at 9 AM
Our participatory Torah Study sessions take place in the Yavneh Library (lower level) every Saturday morning from 9:00-10:00am, before Shabbat services. All members and guests are welcome.
Using traditional commentaries as well as scholarly writing, we explore the meaning and message that the ancient stories of family rivalry, holy wars, slavery, Temple ritual, and more, bring to our lives today. The sessions are led by knowledgeable Darchei Noam members, Rabbi Tina Grimberg, and visiting scholars. Please let us know if you would like to receive a weekly email with Torah portion “highlights” and the name of the session leader.
