Shabbat Mornings
Shabbat at Darchei Noam: Song-filled traditional egalitarian Shabbat morning services, interactive children’s programming, weekly Torah study, stimulating talks, creative alternative services, Israeli dancing and communal Kiddush. Whatever you are looking for on Shabbat, Darchei Noam has something for you!
With a combination of joyous singing (often with instrumental accompaniment), contemplative reflection, and thought-provoking divrei Torah (teachings), our morning services also set the stage for life cycle celebrations in the midst of our warm community.
Complete your communal Shabbat experience by joining our Kiddush lunch. Practice your Yiddish or Hebrew at our monthly Yiddish Tisch or Shulchan Ivrit, or perfect your favourite dairy or pareve dish for our potluck. Celebrate a simcha with a family from our community, or host your own celebration. Connect with old friends and make new ones!
We use the Reconstructionist prayer book "Kol Haneshamah Shabbat v’Chagim". Services are held Saturday mornings at 10am, and childcare is available.

Aliyah and Special Occasions
To request an Aliyah during services in the sanctuary or if you are joining the services virtually and would like to acknowledge a special occasion, please contact Yaron at least two days ahead of time. The Parnass will be pleased to share news of your occasion with the congregation at the start of the Torah service.
