Minyan M'chadesh
Saturday, 9 May, 2015 • 20 Iyar 5775
10:00 AM - 12:00 PMTriple RoomsIn the coming year of 5775 we will study The Essential Writings of Mordecai M. Kaplan (edited by Emanuel S. Goldsmith and Mel Scult). He is considered one of the most influential Jewish thinkers of the 20th and 21st centuries, and importantly for us, the father of Reconstructionism. Kaplan’s thought and actions had a profound impact on Jewish life in North America and the world, and may just be the inspiration we need now to move Judaism forward. You are invited to join the monthly Minyan, and all can write in comments, thoughts, or questions. We meet every second Shabbat of every month in the Yavneh Library.
This session we explore Kaplan on Worship and Ritual.
