This is the third of our five part series on Jewish Poets of the 20^th Century. This session will focus on the lives and poetry of the Montreal Jewish poets, Irving Layton, Leonard Cohen, A.M. Klein, etc. The session will be led by Frank Bialystok, and will include a discussion of the biographies of the individual poets, the historical milieu that produced so much literary ferment, as well as readings and discussions of the poems of these giants of Canadian, and Jewish, letters.
