  1. Do you have to see the American 2018 Book Club film as a pre-requisite to joining the DN Book Club?

 

  1. Will there be enough time to obtain and read the fall selections?  Check out the dates! The books are available in various formats from the Toronto Public Library for optimum exposure to selections mentioned below.

 

  1. When was the last time you read a “literary thriller” by an Israeli author, translated into multiple languages?

 

  1. Have you ever been exposed to a historical war memoir that intersected with a love story?

 

  1. Would you consider reading these two novels even if you weren’t drawn in by the theme of Jewish guilt?

 

  1. Have you attended a Book Club where the facilitator was a Professor Emeritus of Ryerson University’s School of Journalism with stellar communication skills?

 

  1. Why would you read these books to the last page?  Is it because you have a Book Club deadline?

 

  1. When would you have an opportunity to dialogue about subjects emphasized in these books, sharing your thoughts and perspectives with a likeminded community?

 

  1. Have you considered that these literary offerings have been personally selected by Suanne Kelman, who has successfully led private and public book clubs since 1999?
